About The Position

HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Financial Center Teller who represents its commitment to being in the moment and its standard of service, “Defy Expectations,” when serving members, the community, and teammates. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking, written, and verbal communication skills, basic math knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to handle stressful situations.

This is an on-site position in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. The schedule is 35–40 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required. The starting hourly pay range is $20.00–$28.97, with selected candidates typically hired between the minimum and midpoint based on applicable experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
• Excellent multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of math.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Attention to detail.
• Availability to work 35–40 hours per week between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays required.

• Experience in customer service, cash handling, or sales.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with general account inquiries.
• Identify additional products and services that may benefit members.
• Apply a basic understanding of branch compliance and auditing.
