About The Position

The Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for assisting customers with financing their vehicle purchases by liaising with lending agencies. This role also requires a thorough understanding of aftermarket options and warranties available for purchase with the vehicle. The F&I Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive menu selling process to enhance the finance department's profitability and product penetration, track the department's portfolio with lenders, and ensure daily review and inspection of paperwork for timely deal completion. Additionally, the F&I Manager must ensure all deals comply with federal, state, and local guidelines, support the sales department in achieving its objectives, and uphold professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service. This role involves working closely with the sales team to ensure proper selling methods are followed and setting the finance department's work schedule.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Prior automotive experience required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Self-motivation
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department’s overall profitability and product penetration
• Track portfolio with lenders
• Review and inspect the flow of the department’s paperwork on a daily basis to ensure a timely turnaround on all deals
• Ensure all deals are fully compliant with local, state, and federal guidelines
• Demonstrate commitment to supporting the sales department in achieving its goals
• Be an example of professional morals, ethics, and excellent customer service
• Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods
• Set and maintain finance department work schedule
