About The Position

Serra Automotive Group is seeking an F&I (Finance and Insurance) Manager to join its growing team. The role requires knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures and the ability to assist customers with financing and close sales of additional products. The manager structures and processes deals, ensures compliance, prepares contracts, reviews team deals, and supports timely funding. Serra Automotive Group is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and represents automotive brands at locations across Central Alabama and Michigan.

Requirements

Eagerness to improve.
Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
Proficiency in structuring deals for maximum profitability.
Knowledge of title laws and the registration process.
Professional personal appearance and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide recommendations and assistance to customers to arrange financing for their purchases and present additional products to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
Structure sales to produce the highest profitability.
Maintain proficiency and certifications required for the position.
Desk deals accurately, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and close deals effectively.
Ensure every deal complies with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Prepare paperwork and contracts and deliver deals.
Audit team deals after sale and analyze them for opportunities to improve.
Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.
