About The Position

Serra Automotive Group is seeking an F&I (Finance and Insurance) Manager to join its growing team. The role requires a deep knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures and the ability to assist customers with financing and close deals on additional product offerings. The manager structures deals for profitability, ensures compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, prepares and delivers deal paperwork, and supports timely contract funding. Serra Automotive Group is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, and represents automotive brands through locations across Central Alabama and Michigan. Requirements

Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
Proficiency in structuring deals for maximum profitability.
Knowledge of title laws and the registration process.
Professional personal appearance.
Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide recommendations and assistance to customers to arrange financing for their purchases.
Present additional product offerings to enhance customers’ vehicle and ownership experience.
Structure sales to produce the highest profitability.
Maintain proficiency and certifications required for the position.
Accurately desk deals, submit deals to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and close deals effectively.
Ensure every deal complies with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Prepare paperwork and contracts, and deliver deals.
Accurately audit team deals.
Analyze deals after sale and identify improvements.
Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.
