About The Position
The Finance and Insurance Manager helps customers arrange financing for vehicle purchases and presents additional products that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience. The role structures deals for profitability and collectability, prepares and delivers paperwork and contracts, and ensures deals comply with applicable guidelines. It also includes auditing completed deals and expediting contract funding. Experience in dealership management, automotive sales, retail sales, warranty processing, or customer service/support is encouraged.
Requirements
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to submit to a background check, including criminal background screening, motor vehicle record review, and Social Security number verification.
Nice To Haves
- A college degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in dealership management, automotive sales, retail sales, warranty processing, or customer service/support.
Responsibilities
- Help customers arrange financing for their purchases and present additional products that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
- Structure deals for maximum profitability and collectability.
- Maintain proficiency in title laws and the registration process.
- Maintain required proficiency and certifications.
- Accurately desk deals, submit them to lenders for approval, make credit decisions, and close deals effectively.
- Ensure deals comply with local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Prepare paperwork and contracts and deliver deals.
- Accurately audit team deals after sale.
- Ensure the expeditious funding of all contracts.
