About The Position

Big Star Honda, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking an F&I Manager to provide exceptional customer service and appropriate financing and insurance options to customers completing a vehicle purchase. The role involves maintaining positive working relationships with lending sources to expand the options available to customers, managing finance and insurance production, and ensuring vehicle deals are processed accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dealership F&I department, selling financial services, or auto sales.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to provide references upon request.
• Friendly and cooperative, with the ability to quickly connect with customers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deal creatively, logically, and empathetically with customers and coworkers.
• Detail-oriented, with a preference for high quality and technical expertise.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat every customer in a friendly, professional manner regardless of their financing or purchasing decision or credit ability.
• Manage production of reserve income, F&I product penetration and income, and per-vehicle retail (PVR) averages in accordance with company standards.
• Set up monthly forecasting with the sales department and use the forecast to establish and meet monthly objectives.
• Submit paperwork to finance sources and obtain approval for all finance deals; complete and submit car-deal paperwork to the accounting office in a timely manner.
• Collect and safeguard all money and fees required in transactions.
• Assist the dealership in managing deal and cash flow in accordance with company Contracts-In-Transit (CIT) guidelines.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with lending sources.
