About The Position

Big Star Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Sales Receptionist who reflects the company’s values of respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork. The receptionist provides professional, prompt service to callers and walk-in customers, helps identify and address customer needs, and supports accurate license-plate tracking. The role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate dealership business needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Previous receptionist experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills, including inventory control software, internet use, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and a good driving record, per company standards.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls professionally within three rings and promptly transfer callers to the appropriate destination.
• Take messages when the person being contacted is unavailable or when requested by the customer.
• Promptly greet and accommodate walk-in customers, providing timely, friendly, professional service.
• Listen to customer inquiries and requests, ask questions to identify needs, and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Call customers when their license plates arrive and maintain a license plate log for accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
