About The Position

Big Star Ford, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Sales Receptionist who demonstrates respect, intelligence, greatness, honesty, and teamwork. The role provides professional, friendly service to callers and walk-in customers, helps identify and address customer needs, and supports dealership operations by managing messages and license plate notifications and records. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Previous receptionist experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong computer skills, including use of inventory control software, the Internet, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record according to company standards.
Flexibility in schedule to accommodate business needs.

Nice To Haves

Automotive dealership experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer phones professionally within three rings and promptly transfer customers to the appropriate destination.
Take messages when the person a customer is trying to reach is unavailable or when the customer requests it.
Greet and accommodate walk-in customers promptly, providing timely, friendly, and professional service.
Listen to customer inquiries and requests, ask questions to identify needs, and resolve customer concerns.
Maintain a professional appearance.
Call customers when their license plates arrive and maintain an accurate license plate log.
Perform other duties as assigned.
