About The Position

The F&I Manager leads, develops, and inspires the F&I team and contributes to store performance, culture, and customer experience. The role helps customers select vehicle protection products, secures financing through lender relationships, and ensures transactions and related paperwork are completed accurately and in accordance with office, state DMV, and lender requirements. The F&I Manager reports to the General Manager.

Requirements

At least 2 years of dealership F&I Manager experience.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Present vehicle protection products and explain their benefits to help customers choose suitable packages.
Arrange customer financing by building professional relationships with lenders and seeking the best available financing.
Submit deals electronically to banks using the appropriate dealer system.
Enter transactions accurately into ADP and bank approval systems.
Process transaction paperwork and ensure it is accurate and meets office, state-specific DMV, and lender requirements.
Track deal receivables and follow up on outstanding items to collect all funds and satisfy bank stipulations for contract funding.
Participate in store meetings, including Sales Receivables, Save-a-Deal, and Store Manager meetings.
Work with the sales team and sales managers to complete transactions accurately and to the customer's satisfaction.
Follow up with customers about purchased products that require customer action, such as protective coating application.
Assist the Sales Team with customer engagement in the sales department during peak traffic times.
Obtain all appropriate licensing within 90 days of hire.
