About The Position

F&B Attendants work in the Honda Center Food and Beverage Department, providing guests with a positive experience by taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders efficiently. This is a part-time, event-based position, and hours fluctuate according to the arena event schedule. Attendants work at concession stands and portables throughout the building and may support other Food & Beverage departments as needed. The starting hourly rate is $19.00.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment focused on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work well with others and establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and proven customer service skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Education: less than high school.
• Experience required: 0–1 year.

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide customer service.
• Assist guests with the POS system at concession stands throughout the building.
• Expedite food orders at concession stands or portables.
• Stock products and set up condiment stations, cashier and POS stations, and display baskets.
• Complete station setup and breakdown responsibilities.
• Handle and control products, inventory, and equipment properly.
• Work with team members to maintain food and beverage quality.
• Assist with food preparation.
• Check concession equipment to ensure it is being used properly.
• Understand and carry out responsible alcohol service.
• Maintain proper sanitation and food safety.
• Learn to navigate the arena and help guests find their way.
• Support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
