About The Position
F&B Attendants work in Honda Center’s Food and Beverage Department, providing guests with a timely and efficient food and beverage ordering experience. This is a part-time, event-based position, and hours fluctuate according to the arena’s event schedule. Attendants may work at concession stands or portables throughout the building and support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment focused on guest satisfaction.
- Works well with others and can establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated customer service skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including bending or lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous cash handling experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Assist guests accurately with the POS system at concession stands throughout the building.
- Prepare and expedite guest food orders promptly at concession stands or portables.
- Stock products and set up condiment stations, cashier and POS stations, and display baskets.
- Complete station setup and breakdown responsibilities.
- Practice proper product control and handle inventory and equipment appropriately.
- Partner with team members to ensure food and beverage quality.
- Assist with preparing food items.
- Check concessions equipment to ensure proper use.
- Understand and carry out responsible alcohol service.
- Maintain proper sanitation and food safety.
- Learn to navigate the arena and assist guests with directions.
- Support other Food & Beverage departments as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
