The job overview for the Director, Partner Organization role at Kinaxis is to act as a liaison between the company and its partners, building and maintaining long-term relationships. The Director will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth in the APAC region by translating products into business value for partners. This individual contributor role requires strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies. Fluency in Japanese and English is required, and the ability to travel is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Kinaxis and its partners
- Build, maintain, and manage long-term relationships with current and prospective partners
- Build productive and profitable working relationships across the organization
- Manage executive alignment and escalation management
- Develop competency and qualification plans for partners
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies for lead generation
- Develop a business plan to improve sales and profitability
- Work with development, marketing, and services teams to achieve revenue goals
- Review and revise business plans based on partner needs
- Participate in pipeline review and management activities with partners
- Participate in business review and revenue forecasting activities
- Manage all aspects of partner growth, including prioritization of business, strategic and financial assessment, structuring and negotiation of new projects, and ongoing partner management
- Maintain direct relationships with partners, resolving issues and creating value for Kinaxis and partner sales teams
- Have 10+ years of experience in partner management, sales management, and/or sales productivity
- Strong executive presence, communication, and influence skills
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to new demands with a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
- Industry experience in SaaS, specifically Supply Chain Software sales, considered a strong plus
- Fluency in Japanese and English language skills required
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Requirements
- 10+ years experience in partner management, sales management, and/or sales productivity
- Account Executive experience a strong plus
- Strong executive presence, communication, and influence skills
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
- Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands with a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
