About the position
The Director of Natural Channel will be responsible for taking ownership over specific strategic accounts including Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Vitamin Cottage, NCG, INFRA, and ION Group. They will collaborate with the broader OLIPOP team to drive the business and build relationships with key retailer partners. This role involves organizing and managing promotional calendars, presenting new products to retailers, creating sales and marketing strategies, coordinating with distributors, reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, and ensuring accurate forecasts and demand planning.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of business related to Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Vitamin Cottage, NCG, INFRA, and ION Group
- Organizing and managing all promotional calendars and cost-effective retailer programming for specified retailers
- Reviewing strategies to evaluate tradespend/ROI and increase profitability while growing sales
- Leading the charge on all new item/innovation presentations to retailers
- Creating strategy and priorities for the OLIPOP field teams, 3rd party merchandising partners, and broker partners
- Working with distributors to set up new items for specific retailers and monitoring orders for timely fulfillment
- Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Sales on a weekly basis regarding key account priorities, goals, strategy, and initiatives
- Consistent communication with the Demand Planner and Operations team for accurate forecasts and demand planning
- Meeting with the trade marketing team to organize marketing activations and coordinate key programs with retailers
- Coordinating and executing retailer events
Requirements

- Experience in presenting new items and innovations to retailers
- Ability to create strategy and priorities for field teams, merchandising partners, and broker partners
- Familiarity with working with distributors to set up new items and monitor orders
- Strong reporting and communication skills
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting
- Experience in coordinating marketing activations and events with retailers
