About the position
OLIPOP is seeking an Area Sales Manager to represent the company in South Florida. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with retailers and distributors in the region, with a focus on achieving volume and distribution goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening new doors and expanding on existing market success. This is a fast-paced role that offers personal growth, responsibility, and a fun working environment. No formal education requirements are necessary for this position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on monthly volume and distribution goals and achieve overall objectives in the market.
- Manage partnerships with distributors, food brokers, and retailers in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Naples, Key West market.
- Conduct weekly "route rides" with DSD partners and food brokers to identify opportunities for underperforming accounts and routes.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper use of P.O.S. material.
- Follow through on commitments made to distributor management, sales personnel, and the trade.
- Assist the Regional Sales Manager in distributor management meetings by providing well-documented reports on distribution, display, and sales levels.
- Implement and execute incentive programs to guide distributor organizations in achieving sales objectives.
- Manage chain retailers by establishing promotion calendars, new items, and retail programs.
