About the position
The Director of Marketing at Easyship will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth through impactful marketing strategies. This role will be responsible for filling the top of the sales funnel with qualified leads, developing new inbound and outbound tactics, and tracking program effectiveness. Additionally, the Director of Marketing will oversee social channels, website optimization, and other marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with extensive experience in marketing at a high-growth B2B company or startup, and has a strong track record of creating successful marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Drive the marketing team forward by building a robust strategy of success and have a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Be a natural leader and continuously look to develop the team and motivate them to succeed.
- Develop and execute the marketing plan across all channels (paid search, organic, social, direct mail).
- Work closely with other teams (product, design, sales) to improve the lifecycle experience for customers.
- Analyze data, budgets, and performance to ensure efficiency.
- Analyze KPIs related to marketing performance, media results, and promotional campaign results to forecast potential revenue tied to marketing efforts.
- Partner closely with product, design, and sales teams to integrate customer marketing programs into all customer touchpoints.
- Work closely with C-Level Executives to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
- Take projects from concept to test and implement, while providing reporting on program performance to the team.
- Track and report on the success of marketing campaigns and lead generation metrics using tools such as Google Analytics.
- Be a creative thought-leader biased towards action, taking hands-on approach to see ideas move forward.
- Have extensive experience in a marketing role at a high B2B growth company or early-stage startup.
- Be experienced with SaaS eCommerce.
- Have led marketing teams in high growth companies (100 - 2,000 employees) and achieved ARR between $10M and $100M.
- Have managed a substantial marketing budget of $10M+.
- Have a strong track record of creating successful inbound/outbound marketing campaigns, sourcing leads, and running multichannel marketing campaigns.
- Have experience with Hubspot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, SEM, and prospecting platforms.
- Consultant experience would be desirable.
