A Specialized Cycling Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional rider service, enhancing rider satisfaction, and aiding in meeting sales and profitability goals. They serve as the front line and point person for the store, working directly with riders to identify and locate the goods, services, and experiences needed to provide quick and frictionless solutions. The Cycling Specialist delivers locally authentic interactions that express inclusive, transformative, and ride-focused experiences, while also inspiring riders to make purchases and creating a positive impression of the specialist and the company. This is a part-time role.

Deliver world class rider-service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of rider satisfaction

Meeting and making a connection with riders, asking questions, and listening to riders' needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs

Inspiring the rider to buy, celebrating the purchase, and creating a lasting positive impression of the specialist, Specialized, and the purchase process

Delivering transformative, inclusive, ride-focused, locally authentic, and collaborative experiences for staff and riders alike

- Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand - 1-3 years of retail experience preferred - Excellent communication skills - Ability to deliver world-class rider service - Ability to make connections with riders and understand their needs - Ability to provide options and advice to meet riders' needs - Ability to inspire riders to make a purchase and create a positive impression - Ability to deliver transformative, inclusive, ride-focused experiences - Ability to maintain visual merchandising standards and keep product presentation areas clean and organized - General cleanliness and janitorial duties - Familiarity with product features and ability to stay current on them - Regular and punctual attendance.
