About the position
You will be a key part of the compliance team, working closely with engineers, consultants, and test lab teams worldwide. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that e-bike projects comply with both local and international laws. As part of this role, you will manage complete bike testing, create and maintain certification documentation, and coordinate with product developers and engineers to ensure international compliance. Additionally, you will review test results, stay updated on changing chemical restrictions, and collaborate with test labs and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Product Developers and engineers to ensure international compliance of all pedal assist bicycle parts.
- Communicate with test labs and teams outside Taiwan, potentially requiring flexible hours.
- Ensure proper storage of certificates and documentation.
- Review test results to ensure comprehensive testing and approval of all aspects.
- Complete test records for each model, referencing in-house and 3rd party testing.
- Stay updated on changing chemical restrictions related to products and packaging.
- Communicate changes/updates to suppliers and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with SGS or other test labs to facilitate RSL testing for suppliers.
- Request new supplier sign-off on RSL and PRSL documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in working with engineers, consultants, and test lab teams to ensure compliance with international and local requirements for e-bikes
- Strong communication skills, including frequent communication with teams outside of Asia
- Ability to manage complete bike testing to international standards
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining complete bike certification documentation
- Ability to multitask and support teams with different fields
- Knowledge of e-bike certifications and coordination with product developers and engineers for international compliance
- Familiarity with test labs and flexible hours for communication with teams outside Taiwan
- Attention to detail in reviewing test results and ensuring comprehensive testing and approval of all aspects
- Familiarity with specialized RSL and PRSL maintenance, including staying updated on changing chemical restrictions and communicating changes to suppliers
- Collaboration with test labs for RSL testing and requesting new supplier sign-off on RSL and PRSL documentation.
