About the position
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic Sports and Entertainment Company. In this role, you will be a key member of our team in safeguarding our organizations digital assets, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical information. You will assist in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, as well as implementing and maintaining security controls across our systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Review vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches, gather evidence, and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the configuration and management of security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Implement and manage Cisco solutions to fortify our network defenses and prevent unauthorized access.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users on security-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are met in new projects and initiatives.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst
- Experience in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Familiarity with incident response plans and procedures
- Ability to investigate security incidents and breaches
- Proficiency in configuring and managing security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Understanding of security policies, standards, and best practices
- Experience with Cisco solutions for network defense
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
- Ability to conduct security awareness training
- Technical support and assistance for security-related issues
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams for security requirements in new projects
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
