About The Position

Curry House Assisted Living and Memory Care, a Sonida Senior Living community in Cadillac, Michigan, provides care to residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. The Culinary Services Assistant serves residents and guests in the dining room, helps prepare food and drinks, performs dining-area cleanup and setup, and prepares snacks and replenishes common-area refreshment centers. The role follows safety, sanitation, and work-schedule procedures to support effective food service and compliance with governmental regulations.

Requirements

• Twelve or more years of education; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner, following established procedures.
• Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
• Perform assigned cleanup tasks, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock in residents’ common-area refreshment centers.
• Maintain procedures that meet safety and sanitation standards and comply with governmental regulations.
• Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to ensure effective food service.
