About The Position

The Culinary Services Assistant works at The Waterford At Fort Worth, a Sonida Senior Living independent living community in Fort Worth, Texas. This position serves residents and guests in the dining room, assists with food and drink preparation, and supports dining-area setup, cleanup, and sanitation. The role also prepares and serves snacks and replenishes common-area refreshment centers. The assistant follows established procedures and a regular schedule of work activities to provide effective food service and comply with safety and sanitation requirements.

Requirements

One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
Twelve or more years of education; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner, following established procedures.
Assist with drink and food preparation for residents.
Complete assigned cleanup tasks, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock items in residents’ common-area refreshment centers.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures to help ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
