About The Position

The Culinary Services Assistant serves residents and guests in the dining room and helps prepare food and drinks, maintain dining areas, and provide snacks. The role follows established procedures and safety and sanitation standards to support effective food service and compliance with governmental regulations.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
• More than 12 years of education, a high school diploma, or a GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
• Assist with preparing drinks and food for residents.
• Complete assigned cleanup, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock items in common-area refreshment centers.
• Maintain safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with governmental regulations.
• Follow the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
