About The Position

The Culinary Services Assistant serves residents and guests in the dining room and assists with food and drink preparation, dining-area setup and cleanup, dishwashing, and snack service. The role helps maintain safe and sanitary food-service practices and follows assigned schedules and procedures to support effective service at The Waterford at Carpenter's Creek, an assisted living community in Pensacola, Florida.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Twelve or more years of education, a high school diploma, or a GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner, following established procedures.
• Assist with food and drink preparation.
• Complete assigned cleanup, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
• Prepare and serve snacks and replenish stock items in common-area refreshment centers.
• Maintain procedures that meet safety and sanitation standards and comply with governmental regulations.
• Follow the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
