About The Position
Summit Corners, a Sonida Senior Living community in Macedonia, Ohio, provides assisted living and memory care. The Culinary Services Assistant serves residents and guests in the dining room, helps prepare food and drinks, handles dining-area setup and cleanup, washes dishes, and prepares snacks and replenishes refreshment centers. The role follows safety and sanitation procedures and its assigned work schedule to support effective food service.
Requirements
- One to two years of experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Twelve or more years of education; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Serve residents and guests seated in the dining room professionally and according to established procedures.
- Assist with food and drink preparation.
- Perform assigned cleanup, wash dishes, and set up and take down dining areas.
- Prepare snacks and replenish stock in resident common-area refreshment centers.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to comply with governmental regulations.
- Adhere to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to support effective food service.
