About the position
As the Country Sales Manager for Backbase in Indonesia, you will be responsible for expanding new business opportunities by leveraging your existing relationships and network. You will also be responsible for building strategic relationships with prospects and driving strategic C-suite executive engagements. You will collaborate closely with the pre-sales and advisory experts, implement and execute marketing and demand generation campaigns, and develop active partner relationships to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of work experience providing solutions to banks, at least 5+ years of work experience selling Retail Banking/SME Banking/Wealth/Lending solutions, and a great network with C-suites within Banks in Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Drive Backbase expansion into Indonesia by expanding new business opportunities and building strategic relationships with prospects
- Implement and execute marketing and demand generation campaigns and be responsible for the overall sales strategy
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales and advisory experts to prepare RFPs, deep dives, pitches, and POCs and work towards closing multi-million dollar deals
- Develop active partner relationships to drive business growth
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and effectively run a sales cycle
- Engage at the CxO level to help drive strategic discussions
- Understand customer business drivers and know how to establish buy-in at all levels
- Have a great network with C-suites within Banks in Indonesia
- Meet and exceed sales targets
- Help a company grow its business in Indonesia and expand its client base
- Establish oneself as a trusted business partner within accounts.
Requirements
- 10+ years of work experience providing solutions to banks in helping them achieve their strategic initiatives.
- At least 5+ years of work experience selling Retail Banking/ SME Banking/Wealth/Lending solutions.
- Able to engage at the CxO level to help drive strategic discussions.
- Experience selling enterprise solutions.
- Understanding of customer business drivers and ability to establish buy-in at all levels.
- Great network with C-suites within Banks in Indonesia.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Successfully helped a company grow its business in Indonesia and expand its client base.
- Appreciation of the disruption and trends within the financial services industry enables you to establish yourself as a trusted business partner within your accounts.
