About the position
As the Engineering Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our Backbase as a Service product to our customers. Your role will involve managing and mentoring teams, providing strategic direction, and ensuring effective delivery management. You will also be responsible for creating an inclusive and high-performance work environment, focusing on collaboration, growth, engineering processes, and productivity. Additionally, you will oversee schedule management, capacity allocation, incident management, and the growth of engineers. Your objective, data-driven leadership style will be crucial in driving the team's performance and meeting customer expectations.

- Conduct and follow up on root cause analyses (RCAs)
- Oversee operational review, incident management setup, and monitoring
- Deliver comprehensive reports on incidents, including trends, to management
- Take ownership of reporting on critical incidents and initiatives
- Create and implement strategies for continuous improvement
