Content & Scriptwriting Associate (Contract)

We are seeking a creative Content & Scriptwriting Associate to join our team and help us develop fresh content ideas and craft compelling content scripts. This role will involve creating short-form videos about creator finances and conducting thorough research to provide accurate information. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of writing and content strategy experience, as well as knowledge of basic financial or tax processes. Strong writing and editing skills, along with an understanding of social platforms, are essential. This is a full-time contract role with a pay range of up to $25-30/hour.

• Develop fresh content ideas for short-form videos about Creator finances
• Craft compelling content scripts with an approachable, knowledgeable, and conversational tone
• Conduct thorough research to support content ideas and provide accurate information
• Write scripts for videos
• Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines
• Have knowledge of basic fundamental financial or tax processes
• Adapt writing style and tone to different platforms and audience reactions
• Create content in both long-form and short-form clips
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• 1-2+ years of writing, creating language, and content strategy, ideally in a startup setting
• Must have knowledge of basic fundamental financial or tax processes (CPA or EA holder a plus!)
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• A grammar expert who can adapt to different tones and styles of writing and learn from audience reaction to scripts
• Understanding of social platforms and retention tactics (eg. Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
• Experience creating content in long-form and short-form clips
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
