Content & Scriptwriting Associate (Contract)

We are seeking a creative Content & Scriptwriting Associate to join our team and help us build the one-stop shop for creator finances. In this role, you will be responsible for developing fresh content ideas and crafting compelling content scripts with an approachable and conversational tone. You will need to think strategically, write persuasively, and work quickly to triple our weekly posts. This is a full-time contract role for up to 6-12 months, reporting directly to the Creative Lead. Develop ideas for short-form videos about Creator finances.

Conduct thorough research to support those ideas and provide accurate information.

Write scripts (say 8 in a couple of hours).

Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.

• 1-2+ years of writing, creating language, and content strategy, ideally in a startup setting
• Must have knowledge of basic fundamental financial or tax processes (CPA or EA holder a plus!)
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• A grammar expert who can adapt to different tones and styles of writing and learn from audience reaction to scripts
• Understanding of social platforms and retention tactics (eg. Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
• Experience creating content in long-form and short-form clips
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
