About the position
The job overview for the Head of Growth Marketing position is to drive demand and grow the brand for a company that is building products to help digital creators manage their finances. The role involves building and experimenting with acquisition funnels, establishing and tracking KPIs, creating organic SEO channels, and scaling personalized content. Additionally, the Head of Growth Marketing will be responsible for crafting and iterating the brand story, nurturing the community, and eventually building and leading a team. The ideal candidate should have extensive growth marketing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-changing environment. The base salary range for this role is between $150,000-$200,000.
Responsibilities
- Drive demand by building and experimenting with key acquisition funnels, establishing and tracking KPIs, creating and testing organic SEO channels, and scaling personalized content.
- Collaborate with Sales to align initiatives and ensure a smooth handoff of SQLs.
- Grow the brand by utilizing storytelling and insights from the community, crafting and iterating the brand story, and understanding and nurturing the on/offline community through inventive content and events.
- Build and lead an effective team after finding traction for growth, attracting, growing, and retaining top talent.
- Use a mix of team members, outside services, and automation to achieve goals.
- Reinforce a culture of curiosity, creativity, risk-taking, and ownership.
- Have 7+ years of growth marketing experience, including b2c and SEO strategies.
- Have 3+ years of management experience, leading and developing a high-performing team.
- Possess strong analytical skills and a data-focused approach to decision-making.
- Have proven expertise in creating and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing programs.
- Have experience scaling high-growth companies and navigating fast-changing environments.
- Be based in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or New York City.
- Have experience using Customer.io, Mode, Amplitude, Webflow, Segment, and social media platforms.
- Nice to have: Understanding and passion for the creator economy, knowledge of SQL.
- The base salary range for this role is between $150,000-$200,000.
Requirements
- 7+ years of growth marketing experience (in b2c, SEO, organic strategies)
- 3+ years management experience - leading & developing a high performing team
- Strong analytical skills, data-focused, and goes deep to ensure quality data decision-making
- Proven expertise in creating and executing multi-touch, multi-channel marketing programs that leverage inbound and outbound tactics
- Experience scaling high growth companies and start-up experience with the ability to navigate a fast-changing environment and build things from the ground up
- Based in Los Angeles, San Francisco (strong preference) or New York City - we’re a remote team, but creators concentrate on the coasts
- Experience using: Customer.io, Mode, Amplitude, Webflow, Segment, and Social Media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok)
- Understanding, passion for, and nuanced view of creators and their economy (nice to have)
- Knowledge of SQL (nice to have)
