The Construction Accounts Receivable Specialist manages billing, collections, and financial records for construction projects, ensuring timely payment and accurate accounting. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
Experience working with accounting software.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proven accounts receivable and billing experience.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue invoices for completed work, coordinate billing with project managers, and ensure job costs are accurately captured.
Communicate with clients about receivables, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve payment issues.
Maintain accurate accounting records, file lien documents, and keep digital records of transactions.
Record daily cash receipts, run aging reports, and perform bank reconciliations.
Investigate and correct billing errors, research accounting discrepancies, and resolve client inquiries.
Protect company financial data and comply with compliance requirements.
