About The Position

Corpay is hiring an Account Receivable Specialist for its Workforce Lodging division, within the Lodging line of business. The position is located in Wichita, Kansas and/or Lexington, Kentucky. The role ensures payments are posted accurately and promptly by reconciling daily bank reports, entering payment bookings into the accounts receivable system, and maintaining accurate records. It reports directly to the Credit & Collections Manager.

Corpay provides an assigned office workspace, company-issued equipment, and formal, hands-on training. The role also includes administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new technology.
• Demonstrate integrity and tenacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate a desire to continually learn and improve performance.
• Collaborate effectively as a team player and contribute to team goals.
• Demonstrate superior time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Past payment application experience.
• College coursework related to accounting or finance.

Responsibilities

• Notify the Collections team of discrepancies between payment amounts and invoice totals.
• Initiate inquiries and conduct research to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Identify customer payments and accurately record them in the system.
• Maintain databases and spreadsheets and update information as needed.
• Generate statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Ask questions and share ideas.
• Perform other administrative or accounting responsibilities as assigned.
