About The Position

Requirements

At least 2 years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform collection activities for delinquent accounts by phone and email.
Establish customer terms and credit limits.
Review and release customer orders.
Work with the sales team to negotiate resolutions to customer issues so payments can be received and orders released.
Resolve invoice discrepancies and other disputes with customers while maintaining rapport.
Recommend accounts for collections or write-offs and recommend changes in payment terms.
Reconcile credit card accounts.
Assist with cash application as needed.
Participate in other accounting projects as necessary.
