About the position
As a Compensation Business Partner at Asana, you will be responsible for delivering competitive and analytically driven compensation programs that align with the company's philosophy and values. Your role will involve consulting with internal leaders and business partners to make data-backed compensation decisions. Additionally, you will conduct benchmarking evaluations, administer the annual compensation review cycle, and support design and communication efforts related to the compensation program. This position requires at least 5 years of progressive global compensation administration experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. The estimated base salary range for this role is $176,000 - $224,000, with additional components such as equity and benefits included in the compensation package.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert consultation to client groups on Asana's compensation philosophy and practices
- Partner with HR business partners and recruiters to address compensation questions and provide insights and data for compensation decisions
- Conduct benchmarking evaluations and analyze salary information to ensure market competitiveness of compensation ranges and programs
- Assist in the administration of Asana's annual compensation review cycle
- Support design, change management, and communication efforts related to the compensation program
- Have 5+ years of progressive global compensation administration experience
- Support a sales organization and have knowledge of sales compensation plans
- Conduct competitive market analysis, job matching, market pricing, and forecasting
- Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills to provide clear compensation insights and recommendations
- Have advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- Have experience with Workday Advanced Compensation
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive global compensation administration experience
- Experience supporting a sales organization; demonstrated knowledge of sales compensation plans
- Experience conducting competitive market analysis, job matching, market pricing, and forecasting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a track record of developing and delivering clear compensation insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
