About the position

A Channel Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and developing relationships with new partners. They qualify leads, research potential partners, educate prospects on product offerings, and onboard new partners. Additionally, they maintain and expand relationships with assigned channel partners and focus on turning leads into qualified opportunities. The Channel Account Manager collaborates with marketing and sales to create and execute lead generation campaigns and tracks relevant information in Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure channel partners are enabled and engaged in selling and deploying KnowBe4 with their clients, in order to maximize revenue yield per partner
  • Work with strategic accounts and help them develop a marketing plan with clear objectives, for our mutual success
  • Understand the organizational structure of strategic accounts
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with your partners and their prospective customers
  • Gain knowledge, insight and understanding from key decision-makers regarding customer needs and challenges
  • Participate in sales and channel development strategies to assist the company in optimizing information related to the industry and customer needs
  • Work in coordination with the Marketing team to provide communications to its partners about KnowBe4 products, programs, offers, and promotions
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records in Salesforce.com for opportunities, calls, emails, notes, tasks, demos and other relevant info in compliance with the Administration Policy
  • Meet assigned targets for monthly sales volume requirements and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts by adding new customer
  • Requirements

  • Experience in sales and developing relationships with partners
  • Ability to qualify leads and research potential partners
  • Knowledge of product offerings and ability to educate prospects
  • Experience in maintaining and expanding relationships with channel partners
  • Ability to turn leads into qualified opportunities
  • Experience in creating and executing marketing and lead generation campaigns
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce.com for tracking qualification and lead management activity
  • Ability to enable and engage channel partners in selling and deploying KnowBe4
  • Experience in developing marketing plans with strategic accounts
  • Understanding of organizational structure of strategic accounts
  • Ability to build credibility, brand value, and trust with partners and prospective customers
  • Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of customer needs and challenges
  • Participation in sales and channel development strategies
  • Coordination with the Marketing team to provide communications to partners
  • Accurate and thorough record-keeping in Salesforce.com

  • Establishment of professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
  • Proactive assessment and validation of partner needs
  • Provision of partner feedback for product enhancements and development
  • Leadership in solution development efforts
  • Ensuring partner compliance with agreements
  • Drive adoption of company programs among partners
  • Educate prospective partners on program requirements and deliverables
  • Account mapping and engagement with customers in the sales cycle
  • Ability to respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
