About The Position

Under general direction, the Center Supervisor oversees day-to-day plasma center operations to support efficient plasma collections. The role supervises center operations staff, communicates performance expectations, and helps ensure donor movement through the center while minimizing wait and processing times. The supervisor works with management on staffing, performance feedback, employee relations, escalated donor issues, and process improvement, while ensuring compliance with SOPs and applicable regulations. Local legal or educational requirements may result in different qualifications or responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational or technical training.
• At least one year of supervisory experience overseeing the activities of others.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day plasma center operations to ensure efficient plasma collections.
• Provide instructions, conduct meetings, and communicate performance expectations.
• Advise management on employee relations and escalated donor issues.
• Work with Group Leaders to facilitate donor movement throughout the center and minimize wait and processing time.
• Monitor time card reporting procedures, attendance, and overtime utilization.
• Conduct error investigations and develop recommendations for process improvement.
• Participate with management in recruiting and selecting center operations staff and providing performance appraisals and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• May assist with recruitment and selection of center operations staff and implementation of marketing initiatives to increase donor retention.
