About The Position

The Center Supervisor oversees the general management of employees assigned to production areas at a BioLife Plasma Services plasma donation center. The role reports to the Center Manager and includes overseeing employee performance and scheduling, leading inventory control and operational efforts, and addressing donor concerns. The supervisor also analyzes opportunities related to non-conforming events and performs tasks in the Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. The work takes place in a fast-paced, friendly environment and involves prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
• Frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to walk and stand for the entire shift.
• Frequent lifting of up to 32 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception.
• Ability to monitor equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear is required because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
