The Catering Supervisor manages operational tasks for catering events, ensuring excellent customer service, food presentation, and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience required.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all catering activities under the Catering Manager’s direction.
• Work with production, conference services, and sales teams to execute events.
• Review event details with the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, manage inventories, and order products and equipment.
• Coordinate with catering staff and other departments for event setup, delivery, and breakdown.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and organization standards are met.
• Maintain records and prepare reports for event improvement.
• Address complaints, problems, and feedback from customers or staff.
• Sends Event Summaries to Catering Manager for assigned events, detailing team, client, operational wins and opportunities.
• Ensure catering equipment is returned and properly stored.
• Meet with event contacts and ensure all needs are met.
• Oversee the execution of designated events, ensuring quality service.
• Provide high-level service at all functions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
