About The Position

Sifted creates chef-made, hand-delivered lunch programs for high-growth, culture-centric workplaces. The Catering Host / Server delivers and serves lunch and manages the on-site experience at client locations. The role is suited to a customer experience-minded professional who enjoys pop-up events and the details that make an event memorable. Work takes place in both a commercial kitchen and client offices. The position is full-time, with a weekday schedule; the posting lists Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. under Schedule and 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. under Weekly day range.

Requirements

• Maintain a ServSafe Food Handler card; the company pays for it.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand for long periods and bend, squat, and reach.
• Be open to feedback and appreciate opportunities for personal and professional improvement.

Nice To Haves

• Some food service experience, though it is not required.
• Attention to detail and an interest in positively affecting the customer experience.
• Enjoyment of fast-paced events and interacting with guests.
• Interest in building and representing the Sifted brand.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Sifted lunch experience at client locations and ensure staff members are delighted.
• Create an inspired, pop-up atmosphere in client offices using branded butcher paper and creativity.
• Tell the story of the menu and featured ingredients through branded messaging on the paper.
• Collect feedback, including specific metrics, and report it to the Account Manager.
• Suggest ways to increase efficiency and improve the experience.
