About The Position

The Catering Driver delivers and sets up Taco Time food service for offsite catering events. The role involves safely transporting catering orders from Taco Time restaurants to customer locations, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, quality, and excellent guest service. Drivers may deliver for multiple restaurants within the local area and set up food and beverages according to Taco Time NW catering standards.

The schedule is approximately 1–2 hours around lunchtime (10 a.m.–12 p.m.) Monday through Friday, with variable weekend afternoon hours depending on business. The position is less than 10 hours per week and is described as a flexible part-time opportunity, including for app-based drivers and gig workers.

Requirements

• Hold a current Food Handlers Permit.
• Have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a DMV check.
• Have a clean driving record for the past three years and have been licensed for at least two years.
• Have a reliable, clean vehicle in good repair with current registration and insurance.
• Be at least 25 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Follow appropriate communication channels.
• Maintain positive, collaborative, and constructive interpersonal relationships and practice effective teamwork.
• Prioritize work assignments and meet productivity and quality standards.
• Adapt to changes in work assignments and environment, assume additional responsibility, and learn new procedures.
• Demonstrate effective organizational and analytical skills.
• Use standard office equipment, including personal computers, telephones, copiers, and fax machines.
• Have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Have proficient keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver catering food orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all deliveries.
• Provide friendly guest service and a high level of hospitality.
• Obtain guests’ signatures on all orders.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Set up food and beverages at event locations according to Taco Time NW catering standards.
• Deliver for multiple restaurants within the local geographical area.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
