About The Position

The Driver makes deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and North Coast Electric locations. The position also supports delivery routes by filling orders and completing other warehouse duties as assigned. Drivers conduct daily pre-route vehicle inspections using the Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report and ensure trucks are loaded properly, secured, and within weight limits. The role involves driving a delivery vehicle with a gross vehicle weight under 15,000 pounds and working in a warehouse environment. Regular on-site attendance is required. The usual schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, although evening and weekend work may occasionally be required based on business needs. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime, with pay of $21.11–$26.39 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, verified by background check.
• At least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical.
• Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time.
• Ability to learn to use handheld scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Self-motivated, teamwork focused, and strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and pull heavy objects weighing 75 pounds or more.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, drug screening, credit check, and motor vehicle record review, as permitted by law and required for the position.
• Punctual, regular, and reliable on-site attendance.

Responsibilities
