About The Position
The Delivery Driver delivers pizzas and also assists with cleaning and other store duties. The position offers a smaller delivery area and fewer miles, with tips and opportunities for advancement. Shifts are described as flexible, especially evening shifts, including 4–8 p.m., 5–10 p.m., and closing shifts. The fixed hourly rate depends on the assigned location: $17.13 per hour at Pierce County locations and $20.82 per hour at King County locations. Tips are additional; the posting estimates average total earnings of $25–$30 per hour. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. Work involves customer and co-worker communication, order processing, food preparation and inventory tasks, cleaning, and physical activity in a food-service environment.
Requirements
- Have a license, insurance, and a good driving record.
- Pass a background check.
- Understand and give written instructions.
- Have basic math skills.
- Have verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
- Have motor coordination for precise movements.
- Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
- Be able to work independently and with others, handle stress, meet quality standards, and make decisions.
