Caregivers - Seattle and Bellevue
About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults in Seattle, Bellevue, and surrounding areas. The role includes short four-hour morning or daytime shifts, which pay $26 per hour, as well as standard shifts paying $22–$24 per hour. Additional longer shifts may be available. Full-time and part-time opportunities are offered. Daytime and weekend availability is highly preferred, and caregivers who drive or are willing to commute between clients are encouraged to apply. Caregivers support clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. TheKey describes its local teams as providing support to caregivers and emphasizes compassionate, respectful care that promotes clients’ quality of life. Qualified caregivers may often begin work within three to five days after applying. Caregivers must comply with state background-screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States. Eligibility, compensation, benefits, and bonuses may vary by state and location.
Requirements
- Active CNA or HCA license.
- CPR certification.
- At least six months of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Basic computer skills.
- Driver for clients, with a vehicle, car insurance, and vehicle registration.
- Comply with state background-screening requirements.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Daytime and weekend availability is highly preferred.
- Driving or willingness to commute between clients is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients one-to-one in their homes with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments and help with errands and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through games, puzzles, or other activities.
