About The Position
Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in Chicago. The role focuses exclusively on catering delivery, not fast food, groceries, or gig stacking. Drivers pick up large orders from premium restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners with professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy. Drivers must follow delivery instructions carefully and take clean setup photos at drop-off. The role requires weekday morning and lunch availability, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and comfort with setup and light lifting. Compensation is $18–$50+ per delivery, with weekly pay via Gigsafe (Next Day) and additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality.
Requirements
- Reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Catering bag and cart, or willingness to purchase them.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Smartphone with internet/data.
- Availability for weekday morning and lunch shifts from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not permitted.
- Comfort with setup and light lifting.
- Dependability, communication, and pride in work.
