About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company whose drivers represent the company and its restaurant clients. This independent-contractor role focuses exclusively on catering deliveries, not fast food, groceries, or gig stacking. Drivers pick up large orders from premium restaurant partners and deliver and set up food at office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues. The role requires professional, punctual, and courteous service, careful adherence to delivery instructions, and taking clean setup photos at drop-off. Drivers should be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts (7 a.m.–2 p.m.).
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
