About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company serving national brands. Catering Delivery Drivers pick up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners, deliver them to offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and set up the food at the drop-off location. Drivers represent Meals Now and its restaurant partners through professional, punctual, and courteous service, follow delivery instructions carefully, and take clean setup photos. This is catering delivery only; the posting says drivers do not handle fast food, grocery deliveries, or gig stacking. The role is offered as an independent contractor position and pays per delivery, with weekly pay via Gigsafe and additional incentives.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts, 7 a.m.–2 p.m.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in the work.
