About The Position

Meals Now is seeking a high-standard independent contractor to deliver catering orders in the Naperville, Illinois market. The role focuses exclusively on catering delivery and does not involve fast food, grocery delivery, or gig stacking. Drivers pick up large catering orders from restaurant partners, deliver and set up food at offices, hospitals, schools, and event venues, and represent Meals Now and its restaurant clients professionally. The role requires following delivery instructions carefully and taking clean setup photos at drop-off.

Drivers should be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts, typically 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Meals Now's business hours are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Sunday, with the market mostly busy Tuesday through Friday. Compensation is paid per delivery, with additional incentives for on-time streaks, tier level, and photo quality. Payments are made weekly via GigSafe, with next-day pay noted.

Requirements

• Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
• Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
• Hold a valid driver's license and insurance.
• Have a smartphone with internet/data access.
• Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts (7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.).
• Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
• Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
• Be dependable, communicative, and take pride in work.
