About The Position
Meals Now is a white-glove catering delivery company whose drivers represent the company and its restaurant clients. The Catering Delivery Driver picks up large catering orders from premium restaurant partners and delivers and sets up food at office buildings, hospitals, schools, and event venues. The role requires professional, punctual, and courteous service, careful adherence to delivery instructions, and taking clean photos of the setup at drop-off. This is an independent-contractor delivery role focused exclusively on catering, not fast food, grocery delivery, or gig stacking.
Requirements
- Have a reliable car, van, or SUV; bikes are not suitable for most markets.
- Have a catering bag and cart, or be willing to purchase them.
- Have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Have a smartphone with internet/data.
- Be available for weekday morning and lunch shifts from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Maintain a professional appearance; gym clothes, hoodies, and slides are not acceptable.
- Be comfortable with setup and light lifting.
- Be dependable and communicative, and take pride in the work.
