Catering Assistant
About The Position
Creative Dining Services at Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is looking for a Full-Time Catering Assistant. The available shift has hours that vary based on catering needs, with a typical week being Monday - Friday. The pay rate is $16-$18/hour. Our Catering Assistants ensure guest satisfaction by setting up, serving, and cleaning up at campus banquets, luncheons, and other events. They transport food, beverages, and serving-related items to various locations on campus. They ensure that all catering dishes, utensils, and other equipment are clean and properly returned to their correct place after each event, and assist with other event and unit production and station service during downtime and as required.

- Ability to work varied hours based on catering needs, typically Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, serving, and cleaning up at campus banquets, luncheons, and other events.
