About The Position
Performs cashiering duties, including processing cash transactions, verifying the cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in food preparation, service, and dining room facilities. The position is full-time at IFF, 150 Docks Corner Road, Dayton, NJ 08810. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary. Food service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Perform sales transactions in a timely manner.
- Enter sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
- Make change, accept declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment, and issue receipts.
- Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
- Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Manage assigned change funds and cash receipts, ensuring the cash drawer meets overage and shortage standards.
- Observe customer purchases in the cafe line and differentiate between standard portions.
- Replenish condiments, coffee, beverages, and general supplies while keeping service areas clean.
- Keep the pastry case stocked.
- Follow company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Comply with sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
