About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help customers leave the store with a positive experience by providing quick, friendly, professional checkout and helping them get value for their money. Most of the role is spent at the register, but you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The position involves answering customer questions, assisting with payments and exchanges, and helping maintain a clean, safe workstation. Occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed, but regular travel is not required.

Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
