About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure customers leave with a positive impression by providing quick, friendly, and professional checkout service and helping them get the best value. Most of your time is spent at the register, but you may also answer questions, assist with payments and exchanges, help other departments, stock shelves, move carts, and perform other duties as needed. The role is based in a fast-paced retail environment and involves maintaining a clean and safe workstation. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed.

Requirements

Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.
Follow lifting guidelines, which limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed.
Use powered equipment as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
